However the stress that law students can feel as they study their way to a successful career in the legal field is not discussed nearly as often.

Take Short Study Breaks

When you know you’re not making any progress on something you’re working on, stand up and take 10 minutes to yourself. Go for a walk, stretch your body, have something to eat, or even have a hot shower. Sometimes, 10 minutes can be all it takes to freshen your mind and gain a new perspective on a challenging study problem you’re facing.
Set Schedules for Yourself
It’s all too easy to get into the habit of studying from dusk until dawn with few breaks. You likely want to memorize as much information as possible for an exam while hopefully improving your marks as a result.

It’s also equally important to focus on your sleep, with at least eight hours necessary to function at your best during the day. If you need to study during the late hours of the night, do so on a day that doesn’t require you to get up early the following morning.
Ask for Help
Ask for help if you’re experiencing high levels of stress at law school, home, or even at a law firm where you’re undertaking work experience. Admitting that you’re struggling is not a sign of weakness, and you may be surprised at how many people are willing to step in to help.
Friends and family are generally excellent sources of support, but you may also be able to rely on a school guidance counselor or a tutor.
Law school can set you up for a wonderful career in law, but the road to reaching your goals can be full of twists and turns. Don’t let your stress levels get the better of you. Take breaks, schedule your study, look after your health, and ask for help when you need it.
