This week’s agenda can be divided between the knowns and the unknowns.
In terms of legislation, the plan is for a load of ten minute rule motions – details below.
On top of that, MPs continue debating last week’s Budget, culminating in a vote on Tuesday that will almost certainly pass.
Then there’s the other stuff.
As the coronavirus outbreak worsens, with a ban on mass gatherings sounding likely, expect updates in the form of as-yet-unplanned ministerial statements.
But it looks like emergency legislation could wait until the week after.
The schedule for 23 and 24 March includes time for the second readings of unspecified bills, which the government will want to get through as quickly as possible.

MONDAY 16 MARCH
Assaults on Retail Workers (Offences) Bill
Reclassifies assaults on retail offenders as aggravated offences, which makes them liable for tougher sentencing. Ten minute rule motion presented by Alex Norris.
TUESDAY 17 MARCH
Company Transparency (Carbon in Supply Chains) Bill
Requires companies to prepare an annual statement on carbon in their supply chains. Ten minute rule motion presented by Karen Bradley.
WEDNESDAY 18 MARCH
Children (Access to Treatment) Bill
Also known as “Charlie’s Law” after Charlie Gard, a boy with a rare genetic disorder whose parents unsuccessfully fought Great Ormond Street Hospital in the courts to keep his life support going. This law introduces measures that aim to resolve such disputes at the earliest stage possible, and provide a clearer legal framework, to avoid court action.
