Welcome to our weekly feature courtesy of Sebastian Salek, the brains behind Clear the Lobby, working to bring you all the laws MPs are voting on this week, and explained in plain English!

A quiet week for legislation. Instead, MPs debate more of the many statutory instruments that the government must pass because of Brexit. Topics include electronic communications, and sanctions on Burma, Venezuela and Iran.

Tobacco Companies (Transparency) Bill
Requires tobacco companies to publish sales and marketing data. Ten minute rule motion presented by Bob Blackman.

WEDNESDAY 3 APRIL

Parental Rights (Rapists) and Family Courts Bill
Removes the parental rights of fathers of children conceived through rape. Mandates an inquiry into how family courts handle domestic abuse and violence against women and girls in child arrangement cases. Ten minute rule motion presented by Louise Haigh.
