What would you ask a Graduate Recruiter?

What would you ask a Graduate Recruiter?

“Thank you for your application. We regret to inform you that you have not been successful on this occasion. Owing to the sheer number of applications received for this position, we are unable to provide you with feedback or the reasons for your rejection. We wish you the very best of luck in your future search.”

Let us help!

The Student Lawyer has teamed up with new online careers service, Apportunity, and we will be running a Facebook Live event with their Graduate Recruiter on Wednesday 18th January at 12:30.

Apportunity is the new online careers service for graduates who are applying for professional jobs in law, banking or consulting. Apportunity matches graduates with a Graduate Recruiter in the same industry for application advice. You receive guidance with CVs, application forms, cover letters and mock interviews.

Apportunity’s Grad Recruiter, Matthew Mercer, currently a Senior Graduate Recruiter at Shoosmiths with 5 years of experience reading your applications, will be answering your questions. Send us your questions via our Facebook or Twitter or to Apportunity by emailing and Matthew will be able to answer them live at our event.

Don’t give up! We are here to help! See you on Wednesday!
